On May 13 Reed was able to participate in the Wal-Mart "Launch Event" in Evanston WY. He was taken by fire truck in his own parade down Front St. Reed was very excited. He was welcomed at Wal-Mart by the Evanston High School Cheerleaders, representatives from Primary Children's Hospital and the Wal-Mart manager and associates. We told Reed's miraculous story. Reed was presented a certificate from the Mayor proclaiming May 13, 2011 Reed Robinson day and a personalized mug full of candy. Wal-Mart gave Reed $250 to buy toys for the kids at the hospital and we will be presenting those at the telethon on June 5th between 1 and 1:30 on KSL Channel 5. Wal-Mart also gave our family $500 to help with our trip to Disney World and Washington D.C.
